

The STC-40026 from Swedish Telecom Opto’s LPO Series is an 800 Gb/s OSFP800 2×DR4 module designed for high-density and power-efficient data-centre applications. Based on the Linear Pluggable Optics (LPO) architecture, the module eliminates the internal DSP and instead leverages the host ASIC for signal processing. This results in significantly lower power consumption, reduced latency, and simplified thermal design — essential for AI clusters, hyperscale data centres, and high-performance computing environments.
The STC-40026 supports 8 × 100 Gb/s PAM4 lanes, providing an aggregate data rate of 800 Gb/s across dual MPO-12 APC connectors. It enables transmission distances of up to 500 m over single-mode fiber (SMF), making it ideal for leaf–spine interconnects, intra-DC fabrics, and edge connectivity where efficiency per watt matters most.
